I am a Hertha Firnberg Research Fellow in English Literature at the University of Vienna and a Visiting Scholar at the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing at Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
My monograph, Oscar Wilde in Vienna, exploring the reception and cultural appropriation of Wilde's works in the Austrian capital between 1903 and 2013, has just come out with Brill Rodopi.
Joanna Neilly's and my guest-edited special issue on "The Author in the Popular Imagination: Views from the 19th Century" for Forum for Modern Language Studies has just been published. My own contribution on Disraeli's celebrity authorship can be accessed here.
