I am a Hertha Firnberg Research Fellow in English Literature at the University of Vienna and the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing at Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
I am currently organising a conference on the theme of "Art and Action: Literary Authorship, Politics, and Celebrity Culture", hosted by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities, 20-21 March 2020. The conference programme will be available shortly!
My monograph, Oscar Wilde in Vienna, came out with Brill Rodopi in July 2018. On 8 February 2019 I discussed the book with Mary Luckhurst, Stefano Evangelista, and Dominic Janes at The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities.
Julia Lajta-Novak's and my guest-edited special issue on "Life Writing and Celebrity" for Life Writing has just been published as an edited collection by Routledge. Our introductory piece on the connections between life-writing scholarship and celebrity studies can be accessed here.
I am currently guest-editing two journal special issues: on "Persona Studies and Theatre" for Persona Studies (with Mary Luckhurst, forthcoming in the autumn of 2019); and on "Life-Writing and the Transnational" for Comparative Critical Studies (with Clément Dessy, forthcoming in 2020).
