I am a Hertha Firnberg Research Fellow in English Literature at the University of Vienna and the Oxford Centre for Life-Writing at Wolfson College, University of Oxford.
My monograph, Oscar Wilde in Vienna, came out with Brill Rodopi in July 2018. On 8 February 2019 I discussed the book with Mary Luckhurst, Stefano Evangelista, and Dominic Janes at The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities.
Julia Lajta-Novak's and my guest-edited special issue on "Life Writing and Celebrity" for Life Writing has just been published. Our introductory piece on the connections between life-writing scholarship and celebrity studies can be accessed here.
In March 2018, together with Philip Bullock, and in collaboration with OCLW, TORCH, and the "Writing 1900" network, I organised a day conference on "Transnational Lives and Communities". Podcasts available here. A special issue on the theme for Comparative Critical Studies, guest-edited with Clément Dessy, will appear in 2020.
I am currently guest-editing a journal special issue on "Persona Studies and Theatre" for Persona Studies (with Mary Luckhurst, forthcoming in the autumn of 2019).
